Acupause is officially recruiting for new volunteers. Please go to our official website for more information.
Acupause is a NHMRC-funded clinical study which is conducted by the University of Melbourne in collaboration with the Jean Hailes Foundation/Monash University, RMIT University and Southern Cross University.
We are looking for healthy postmenopausal women living in Melbourne who have not had acupuncture in the past two years, and who can attend for ten free sessions of acupuncture (either real or placebo) as part of a study on acupuncture for hot flushes.
Volunteers must be over 40, having regular hot flushes, and not menopausal as a result of surgery, radio- or chemotherapy.
Visit our official website for more information and to see if you are eligible to take part.
This site has been created for practitioners and participants of our study.
